Hi, I’m Heidi, a 30 something scrap happy Southern California native.
I was introduced to the wonderful world of scrapbooking during my senior year of high school. It was offered as an elective class, (yes, scrapbooking was a legitimate class at my school,) and I signed up immediately, not only because I liked arts and crafts, but because I had heard rumors that the class was incredibly easy.
I had always been an artsy person, taking classes in drawing, painting, guitar, (which I failed at miserably,) and dance which I went on to major in while in college. Scrapbooking was something I immediately connected with. I enjoyed preserving my memories with colorful paper and stickers. I liked spending hours on a page, choosing color schemes and perfecting the details.
What started our as a 50 minute high school class quickly morphed into a full fledged hobby. I continued to scrap through college, and even after I got married. I discovered internet challenge blogs that offered inspirational contests and even rewarded my fun with prizes!
I now have an entire area of my house dedicated to scrapbooking and have decided to give blogging a try myself. Thanks for visiting my corner of the internet and stay scrappy!
