You Inspire Me…You Make My World A Better Place

Khaki And Teal, Masculine Meets Feminine

Hi everyone! As winter approaches, I bring you a page with a snowy scene taken by my husband last year in Joshua Tree, CA. Apparently is doesn’t snow there very often, but when it does, it’s magical! He took a selfie on his phone to document the occasion.

The real star of this page is the paper from Heartfelt Creation’s Everyday Heroes stack. I bought this paper years ago but hadn’t used a single sheet until now. I like the combo of khaki, gray and teal. It feels masculine even though the paisley, flowers and butterflies are more feminine features. This paper collection is double-sided and I usually try and feature both sides of the paper on a page, but in this case, the layout looked best with one cohesive side. I used kraft and teal paper scraps and some awesome washi tape from The Washi Tape Shop. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from them and this is the first time I used their products. I love what I’ve seen so far and can’t wait to use their other products. I used some chipboard butterfly stickers by Prima Marketing and some enamel dots by Echo Park.

This page was created for Sketch-N-Scrap’s November challenge. I liked the simple layout that allowed me to prominently feature my background paper.

This page was also created for the Kraft + November challenge. The theme for this month was bugs! I used chipboard butterfly stickers in addition to the butterflies printed on the paper.

That’s it for now. Thank you for stopping by and have a happy and safe Thanksgiving everyone!
