Scrapbook Challenge
Cosplay 2010
Red, Kraft And Anime
Hi scrappers! Welcome back! This week I dug into the photo vault and found some pictures from 2010! Back in my college days, I was really interested in anime and cosplaying. 11 years (and 20 pounds) ago I was cosplaying as Asuka Langley from the show Neon Genesis Evangelion. If you’re interested in watching this 1995 classic, I believe the series and at least one of the related movies is on Netflix. It’s weird and exciting (and sometimes horrifying) and definitely NOT for children so make sure the kids are in bed.
I used some star print paper from Craft Smart’s Craft Basics stack and some white cardstock as the base. I found some desktop wallpapers online of the character I was cosplaying as and printed them as 4 X 6 photos. I chose my favorite and cut the character out of the background to use as an embellishment. I used Thickers Kraft chipboard stickers for the title along with some wooden tags by Recollections, some red enamel dots by Simple Stories and Vicki Boutin stickers by American Crafts. I used my Fiskars squeeze punch to create some circles and a sheet from a bullet journal pad. Disclaimer: I have no idea what it says!
This page was created for the October challenge at Kraft +. Isn’t their mood board for this month badass?? Being a massive anime fan, I was super excited by this challenge and knew I had to dig in my stash of photos for some pictures I that would fit perfectly.
This page was also created for Sketch and Scrap. I used some ribbon to create the strips in the background. I like that this was a layout for three images so I could showcase multiple photos on this page.
That’s all for this week. If you get the chance, please check me out at Instagram and You Tube at thescrapattack.
