Beachy Greens and PET Tape

Hi scrappers! This week I’ve created a page with some very special photos. These were taken on a beach in Bimini, Bahamas. It was absolutely beautiful there and we took these fabulous photos just before sunset. This was an amazing trip where we spent a lot of time on a boat snorkeling and swimming with sharks, dolphins and exploring shipwrecks!

I started with some green scalloped paper (brand unknown) and pasted it over some basic white cardstock since it’s too thin to support all my embellishments. The star of this page was the Bluish Nature Collage PET tape by London Gifties. It wasn’t beach themed but the colors worked so well and it did match the romantic ambience of the page. I adhered it to some white paper first and then added some green geometric washi tape. I used a couple of film strips from the Rouge collection and Viken ephemera bits, both by 49 and Market. I did play up the beach theme with some stickers by Recollections and added enamel dots by Simple Stories to finish.

This page was made for the Sketch with a Twist challenge at A Cherry on Top. The twist was to use an animal embellishment. There is a bird within the PET tape design. There is a bee as well but ended up mostly covered by the film strips.

This page was also made for the Country Song challenge. This is probably the longest title I’ve ever used that wasn’t already printed on a sticker or embellishment and I’m so happy that I had a book of stickers by American Crafts that had enough stickers all in the same font so I could make this title!
