Autumn Colors + Pink

Hi scrappers! Well, we made it two weeks into 2021 with only a little it of mayhem. Improvement? I hope so. Who’s to say?

This week’s page feature’s some photos of my husband and I at June Lake which is near Mammoth in California. with international travel options being limited, we took a vacation about 5 hours North. I had never been and we just happened to go when the leaves were changing. It’s not as dramatic as what you would see on the East Coast of the US, but coming from a place where the leaves don’t really change at all, it was really gorgeous.

I started with a piece of orange-coral paper from a Vicki Boutin paper pad. All other paper used was miscellaneous paper scraps left over from other projects. That’s why I always save my scraps! Used some some small silk leaves in all colors and a couple of 3D fox stickers by Recollections. These little guys have made appearances on many layouts but I finally used up the pack with these last two. A few enamel dots by Simple Stories and some chipboard alphabet letters by Thickers make for a quick and easy layout.

This page was created using the layout from Sketch-N-Scrap’s January challenge. It’s rare that I make a page with more than two photos, but in this case it was perfect with the photos I had.

This page was also created for the Lasting Memories challenge. This month’s theme is “Places” and the page had to feature somewhere we have visited.

That’s all for now. Stay safe in the new year everyone!
