Scrapbook Challenge
Create Our Own Fun
Bright And Bold!
Hi scrappers! Thanksgiving is approaching fast! I hope you all eat lots of turkey, pumpkin pie, or whatever foods you choose to share with loved ones this year. This week’s page features my favorite loved on, my husband. These pics were taken while we were at a friend’s wedding over the summer. Does anyone else feel like they put on makeup and dress up less and less these days? Now that I work from home, it has become a rare occurrence! Since we both made an effort to look nice, we had to take a picture or two!
I started with some purple cardstock from the Bright stack by Paper Studio. I found this loose sheet of orange swirly paper in my stash that is absolutely ancient. I finally got to use it for this page! All the other paper on this page was from my stash of scraps.I used some deep purple vellum pieces from a bujo stack (it’s all in Chinese so I don’t know the brand) along with some Happy Planner and Amy Tangerine stickers. I used some Bo Bunny brads to attach some fake flowers and an old piece of raffia to string some K & Company tags. I finished off with my favorite, some enamel dots by The Paper Studio.
This page was created for the 123 Challenge Blog over on Facebook. This was a really fun layout and perfect for someone already prone to paper layering. I normally use, black, white, kraft or some other neutral tone on my page along with the brights or pastels. In this case, the given color palette was all brights!I was worried this page would be too overwhelming and while it is pretty loud, I also love the way it turned out.
That’s all for this week. For more scrapbooking content, you can find me on Instagram and YouTube @thescrapattack. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and I’ll see you soon!
