My Lucky Star

Green And Gold With Washi

Hi scrappers! This week I bring you a page featuring my sweet kitty Jupiter. I’ve had her since she was just weeks old and she’s made every day so much brighter. Here she is being the best little co-worker while I work from home.

I started with some green paper from the Vicki Boutin Evergreen & Holly paper stack. It’s technically a Christmas collection but still worked really well for this page. I added some star details to the basic back ground with a 6 X 6 stencil by Echo Park Paper Company and some stencil butter in Terre Verte and Gamboge by The Crafter’s Workshop. I outlined my photo with some skinny green washi tape by Me & My Big Ideas and added the same tape to some of the squares around my photo. I added more stars using a large Marvy Uchida star punch and some cute cat face stickers by The Paper Studio. Lastly, I found the perfect glittery wood veneer embellishment by Heidi Swapp to use in my title!

This page was created for the March challenge over at 123 Scrapbooking Challenges. I liked all the background squares and used them as opportunities to place embellishment clusters.

This page was also created for the washi challenge over at A Cherry on Top Crafts. The criteria was to frame your photo with washi, which I did but I also added in more washi in the surrounding squares, including some Green Winter washi tape by London Gifties.

That’s all for this time. Thank you for visiting my page and I’ll see you all next time!
