Scrapbook Challenge
Toes & Tail
Black, Pink And Brown
Hi scrappers! I’m here with what will probably be my last creation for February. I used some photos of my cat Jupiter. She often will wrap her tail around her toes, especially when it’s cold and I think it’s really cute!
You may recognize the pink polka dot paper I used on the top half of the page. I used it on a previous page a few weeks back and had some leftover. I also used some sparkly heart paper from Craft Smith’s Summer Dream stack. I cracked open some black texture paste that also has some sparkles along with some fuchsia stencil butter and paired them with a stencil by The Crafter’s Workshop. I had a glittery pink frame by Heidi Swapp that was perfect for my title made from Doodlebug alphabet stickers. I added in a lone puffy cat sticker I had, some ephemera by My Mind’s Eye, pink enamel dots, sparkly hearts and some button stickers.
This page was made using sketch 416 from A Cherry on Top Crafts. As soon as I saw the sketch I knew I had a stencil similar to those concentric circles and utilized it here! I used 2 larger photos instead of 3 small ones and added an embellishment cluster in the lower left corner.
This page was also made using this month’s mood board. Besides the black, pink and brown color palette, I was inspired by the kittens, hearts and the chocolate cake! The paper behind my cat photos is actually a photorealistic print of chocolate frosting. I wasn’t sure when I was ever going to use it but it ended up here!
That’s all for this week, and this month! Thank you for visiting and I will be back in March with more brand new layouts!
