Color Dare Design Team Challenge #644
This Is Us
Orange, Pale Yellow And Blue
Hi scrappers! I’m back again with Color Dare for challenge 644. This week’s color combo is shades of orange, pale yellow and blue. I found some pretty mushroom paper in tones of orange and used that as the base for my page. I decided to scrap this particular photo of my husband and I because his orange shirt and the autumn leaves worked well with the chosen color palette.
I combined the P13 mushroom paper with some blue cardstock by The Paper Studio as well as some various paper scraps and some blue paper from the Echo Park Paper Creative Agenda 6 X 6 stack. I added some gilded washi tape from The Washi Tape Shop and additional stickers and ephemera from the P13 Into the Woods collection. I decorated a chipboard tag from 49 and Market with botanical shapes created with Tim Holtz Flower Jar diecuts and enamel dots by both Echo Park Paper and Simple Stories. A few golden stickers by Vicki Boutin and some mixed media accents with Marigold Stencil Butter by The Crafter’s Workshop finish the page.
I used this layout by StacyLee to create my page for the March Cherry Lift Challenge. I used paper scraps for two of the three panels behind my photos and then expanded upon the simple clusters in the original layout. I used washi for the horizontal strip across the photo and added it as an additional embellishment along the top so the image on the tape could be seen more clearly.
This page was created for Color Dare challenge 644. I used all four colors along with some gold accents. Head on over and share your project using these colors. We would love to see what you create!
That’s all for this week. Thank you for visiting and I will see you all soon!
