Gold Foil And White

Hi scrappers! This week I share my first official layout of 2023. Have you had a chance to handwrite a 2023 date yet? I inevitably wrote 2022 as the year and had to correct it. I feel like I do that every year!

The photos on this page were taken at a wedding at the Muckenthaler house in California. We were in front of a big window and were backlit which created these dreamy photos!

I started with some gold striped paper from The Paper Studio’s Shoppe on the Square stack. All of the gold foil papers on this page are from the same collection. I added a 9 X 9 square of white cardstock in the center and then added a bunch of gold embellishments. I was able to use up the feather stickers and glitter bows, both by The Paper Studio. That means I can buy more stuff, right?? I also added some hexagon stickers by The Paper Studio, Heidi Swapp ephemera by American Crafts, and mixed media stickers by Momenta. I couldn’t resist adding enamel dots by Simple Stories as a finishing touch.

This page was created from White…with 1’s December/January challenge which features gold! Isn’t their mood board pretty? I was inspired by the different textures, glitter, chrome, etc. and incorporated those into my page.

This page was also made for the Sketches in Thyme January challenge. I turned the sketch 90 degrees to accommodate my vertical photos.
