Scrapbook Challenge
Fine Little Day
Clouds And Kittens
Hi scrappers! This week I bring you another page featuring my fluffy kitty Europa. Don’t let this sweet face fool you. She was feeling very feisty this day and was taking swipes at me in-between taking these photos. She still manages to be so photogenic, even when being a rascal!
I started with some pretty cloud print paper on a kraft background from Echo Park Paper Company’s Everyday Eclectic collection. This was double sided paper but I only ended up showing one side for a change. I used some bright yellow-green cardstock from the Paper Studio Affinity cardstock stack that was similar to the color on my background paper. I had scraps of the same cardstock in my stash that I used as a mat for my photos. I added some scraps of blue cardstock as the backdrop for my embellishment clusters and used a Marvy Uchiha corner rounder punch on them.
From there, I used a mix of embellishments from the following:
Hello Gorgeous Ephemera by My Mind’s Eye
Vellum Shapes by Heidi Swapp
Puffy Cat Stickers by The Paper Studio
I also added in various brads and used some white embroidery floss to string my pennant banner.
I was asked to be a guest designer over at Kraft Plus for the month of March. This month was a sketch challenge! For the abstract shapes in the corners, I used some giant rose ephemera and cut the edges to fit. For the title, I used a sticker from the Dear Lizzy sticker book. I ended up putting the semi transparent sticker on some cardstock then cutting out the shape so it could be better seen against the blue background.
That’s all for this time. Thank you for stopping by my page and I will be back soon with more layouts in the month of March!
