Mint And White

Hi scrappers! I’m kicking off May with another layout featuring my cat Jupiter. She has striking green eyes and they really shine in this photo. The whole photo has a soft greenish tone due to the blue wall behind her so I used a color in this layout that would compliment it.

I started with some simple white cardstock and layered in patterned papers from The Paper Studio’s Mint to be Fab Stack and the Vicki Boutin Evergreen and Holly stack by American Crafts. I added a few stickers from the Dear Lizzy sticker book and cut some butterflies out of a patterned paper scrap I had. A few random buttons, some beaded paper flowers by Recollections, and some hand stitching complete the page. The title was made using Sadie Lowercase Alpha dies by Echo Park Paper Company.

This page was made for the White with 1 May challenge which was all about mint. Look how pretty their mood board is! I was inspired by butterflies, gold accents and buttons. Stitching was also required and I added some oversized cross stitch with white embroidery floss.

This layout was inspired by this one by Krystle over at A Cherry on Top Crafts. I liked all the layered papers as well as how the multi-word title was broken up across the page.
