Fussy Cut Washi And Embossed Paper

Hi scrappers! I’m kicking off June with some spooky paper! It took me a little bit to find the photos that would work with this paper, but I found some! My husband and I went to go see one of my favorite podcasts And That’s Why We Drink live in Los Angelos. They are a true crime and paranormal stories podcast so this skull paper fit the theme, plus the red matched the theater seats in the photos. We had a ton of fun and even though my husband didn’t really know what to expect, he still had a good time.

I started with this striking embossed red skull paper. I didn’t want to cover up all this gorgeous paper so I made sure to leave at least one skull showing. The red bokeh prink paper was a leftover scrap from a previous page and was the perfect size for this page. I also used an old scrap of wood print paper from The Paper Studio’s Dendrology stack to mat my photos and added in some pretty geometric washi. I also fussy cut some floral shapes from London Gifities Warm Florals & Fruit washi tape. I added in some more skulls by Jolee’s Boutique and finished up with some enamel dots by Simple Stories and Echo Park Paper Company.

This page was created for Becky Fleck sketch 329 over at A Cherry on Top Crafts. I ended up tweaking this sketch quite a bit, combining two photos to make a large element on the right and using only one photo instead of four on the left. I also threw in a tag and shifted my title around.

That’s all for this week. Thank you for visiting and I will see you soon!
