Foliage And Fungi

Hi scrappers! Even though it’s still pretty warm here, September feels like it should be fall and has inspired a very cozy autumn page. This photo was taken in the Mammoth Lakes area a few years ago when the leaves were changing colors. After a long, hot summer, I can’t wait for cooler weather and pretty foliage.

I used some olive green cardstock from DCWV’s Neutrals stack. I added some paint splatters and then added some woodgrain texture with a stencil and stencil butter in Chocolate, both by The Crafter’s Workshop. I then cut up some double-sided paper from Wild Whisper’s Tidbit Travels collection and alternated the strips so that both sides were displayed. I also added in a strip of washi tape from London Gifties. I love all the fall imagery and this was the perfect page to use it on. I used die cuts by Tim Holtz and 49 and Market to surround my photo with autumn foliage. I used foam core mounting tape on some of the pieces to create a 3D effect.

This page was created for the 3 in a Row challenge over at A Cherry on Top. I chose the bottom row: Free Crafter’s Choice, Any type Mixed Media and Washi Tape.

I used this sketch that I found at Lasting Memories. I didn’t have time to make a page using this layout last month but I loved this sketch so much that I used it anyway. The stripes were both a perfect way to display double-sided paper, and thick washi tape.

That’s all for this week. I will be back soon with a new scrapbook page and if you get the chance, join me at YouTube and Instagram at thescrapattack for more scrapbooking content!
