Color Dare Design Team Challenge #646
I Need Some Vitamin Sea
Pink, Teal And Lavender
Hi scrappers! I’m back with Color Dare for challenge 646. I used some photos taken at the beach and the pastel rainbow sweater I was wearing went really well with the tri-color palette provided.
I used some basic white cardstock from American Crafts as my background and then used some gold polka dot paper from a Recollections paper pad and cut it into 3 1/2 inch squares. Some pink and teal cardstock by DCWV made up the difference.
The stack of products I used on this page is absolutely huge including lots of ephemera and stickers. I added some seashell print washi by Little B around my photos but this washi wasn’t very sticky, so I tried to get creative with ways to get it to stick. I added some mixed media details using an Aall + Create stencil and stencil butter by The Crafter’s Workshop in key places to try and keep the washi adhered. Other products used are below:
American Crafts Vicki Boutin All the Good Things Icon Ephemera
The Happy Planner Colorful Boxes Sticker Book
Recollections Day Dream Paper Pad
Recollections Phrase Stickers
Simple Stories Simple Vintage Life in Bloom Bits & Pieces
The Paper Studio Hexagon Puffy Stickers
This page was made using sketch 421 from A Cherry on Top Crafts. I only used 3 photos instead of 5 but kept the grid layout and decorated each square.
Join us at Color Dare for challenge 646. I used all three colors in the palette but you can make a project using any two of these colors as well. Come share what you create!
That’s all for this week. Thank you for joining me and if you’re looking for a new paper craft challenge, check out the Taylor Swift themed one I host at A Cherry on Top Crafts here. See you next week!
